Rheece van der Linde Portfolio

I'm a South African sound artist and producer working across sound design, installation, and performance. I hold a BA in Sound Production, plus short courses in Sound Art and 3D and Animation. Sound sits at the centre of my practice: granular processing, unstable systems, responsive environments.

Recent projects include a residency at Sound Art Lab (2026), where I developed a series of microcontroller instruments and taught Teensy Practices, a workshop on building instruments, pedals, and loopers with microcontrollers, and a set at Kwia's Blossom Night in Berlin, built around the Torso S4 as the central instrument. I'm also the co-founder of Kulture Lab, a DIY label and artist platform based in South Africa. Over the past six years I've led project planning, event delivery, audio production, plus community-led work supporting charities and emerging artists.

I work across solo and collaborative settings; independent research next to festival-scale installations.
