BUFFER//ERROR was my first DAWless live performance and noise performance, developed during my time at 89 Sound Art school. The project involved circuit bending delay chips, including building a duel delay with extreme delay times, and 4 looper chips that I circuit bent to adjust pitch and stretch live loops on the fly.
BUFFER//ERROR explored the breakdown of digital systems, presenting a performance where a Teensy-driven sampler housed in a mutated teddy bear became an instrument and organism, reacting to touch, feedback, and stress. The teddy bear's red eyes flickered as it strained under pressure, embodying the tension between care and destruction. The result was a fragile, unsettling soundscape exposing the emotional and sonic thresholds of failing digital systems.
