I co-founded Kulture Lab in 2018 as an independent label and artist platform with a strong focus on community and experimental music. Alongside releasing my own work under various aliases, I’ve been responsible for mixing and mastering a wide range of releases across electronic and experimental genres, maintaining consistent sound quality while respecting each artist’s intent.
Within Kulture Lab, I’ve led and supported projects that sit across sound, visuals, and digital space. This includes technical direction, audio production, and mastering for FREAKUENCY Festival, a three-day VR music marathon in support of The Rape Crisis Cape Town Trust, for which I also designed the VR environment. I regularly produce and curate radio shows and DJ mixes, coordinate and prepare audio for over 100 contributing artists, and create graphic design, video, and marketing materials for releases and events. I’ve also handled artist and release PR, contributing to the platform’s overall creative direction and public presence.
